Trump Tariffs against China hurt some his most loyal supporters. the American farmers.
Now he has a solution to fix the problem. The Trump administration announced Tuesday that it will provide $12 Billion dollars in emergency relief. This money is to ease the pain a little while Trump continues his not so popular trade war. This not going well with all farmers. Some are asking that he does more than just give a quick fix or a pay out. They want him to fix the market for long term results.
The Trump administration stated that this is a temporary term.
" This is a short term solution that will give President Trump and his administration time to work on long term trade deals," said Agriculture Department Secretary Sonny Perdue.
This could have a dramatic effect on the 2020 election. It is no secret that in 2016, Trump gained most of his support from the South and the mid west. Farmers are more likely to be found in those regions.
Now that he has sort of disappointed them, it will be interesting to see if they stand behind them in 2020.
Iran has sent another threat to the U.S. By now we are use to this but I will speak on it anyway.
Iranian President Hasaan Rohani sent out a message to Trump, warning him about the mother of all of all wars. This warning was sent because of aggressive policies against Tehran.
Here is the exact quote, “war with Iran is the mother of all wars”, but did not rule out peace between the two countries.
It's funny, the irony of it all is just too much.
The fact that Trump won the 2016 election because of certain people wanted to get rid of illegal immigrants, who were supposedly stealing Americans jobs. Now there is a cry for help from the farmers of America, that at one point used undocumented workers for cheap labor. Yes, these idiots forgot that the same people that they want out of their country, are the same people that they pay less than minimum wage to work on their farms. Oh, this is just getting weird. So now that Trump has shown he is actually gonna get tough on illegal immigrants and that he is breaking up families, a lot of undocumented workers are running scared. They are quitting their farm jobs and leaving. That means the farmers have fewer workers. Hmmm, that would also mean they will have to pay more for new
workers. I guess you can say, they are reaping what they sowed.
